Hi everyone! Thank you for supporting the launch of this blog. This blog attempts to bring the you insights into the control line scene in Singapore. Control line has been around in Singapore since the 1950s and used to be the hype of the nation. Back then, to learn flying, students will attend lessons conducted by Junior Flying Club. It then changed its name to Youth Flying Club, and at present, Singapore Youth Flying Club.
Control line is set to make a comeback and this time aims to create a bigger wave in the new generation. Recently in 2010, Just Fly It - a private control line aeromodelling club - was launched with this objective in mind. This blog is also written by members from Just Fly It to share more interesting findings on control line and to spread the passion to its readers.
On the left column of this blog, we have divided into categories our posts to facilitate reading. In each of the sections you will find weekly updates and video features on the respective flying aspects. We will also be putting up pictures and write-ups on recent and upcoming events to keep you updated on the control line scene in Singapore. We will leave this homepage static and the new posts will all be found on the other pages.
